A student can check his/her grades at any point by logging into his/her Student Account. Login to a Student Account by visiting .myeagle.hccs and selecting “Student Sign-In.”
Students must meet ALL of the following minimum standards: Maintain a cumulative 2.00 Grade Point Average (GPA) each semester, and. Complete 67% of your credit hours attempted, and. Complete your degree within the 150% timeframe (i.e. an associate degree of 60 credit hours must be completed within 90 credit hours)
A student must have a minimum 2.0 AA Degree grade point average, including a 2.0 HCC GPA in all courses leading to an AA, to graduate from HCC. To graduate with Honors, a student must have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above the cumulative HCC GPA.
If the completion rate is below 67% you are not making satisfactory academic progress towards your degree.
The Incomplete affords the student an opportunity to complete the remaining coursework by a date agreed to during the following semester. An “I” or incomplete will be awarded in ance with HCC policies for an Incomplete as stated in the grading policy found in the HCC catalog.
The Satisfactory Academic Progress regulations require that you maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) in order to remain eligible for financial aid. This cumulative grade point average is 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. If you drop below a cumulative GPA of 2.0, you will be placed on a financial aid Warning.
