Pima's First Year Experience (FYE) programs connect you with campus resources and events to help you build the relationships and leadership skills you need to be successful in college and beyond.
If you choose to complete Connect U Orientation by attending a live session, you must be present for the entire 4.5 hour event in order to get your hold lifted so you may register for classes.
You must earn semester GPA of 2.0 or better, or. You must meet the cumulative SAP standards that lead to a “Good” standing.
If you have not been present in class during the last 10 days, please know that after 14 days of non-attendance, your registration status will be changed to "Registered but Not Attending." This means your instructor or the College may withdraw you from the class.
Most first-year seminars are a semester long and start at student orientation. From orientation, students enroll in the course, which gives them a variety of college experiences, from tours of the campus to a breakdown of how to study for tests.
