Definition. A meeting refers to a gathering with a specific agenda and not just mere gathering of people casually talking to each other. PREPARING A PUBLIC NOTICE The Open Meetings Law requires that notice of the time and place of all meetings of a public body be given prior to every meeting. The notice must include reference to the date, time and location of the meeting.
