As a freshman applicant, you'll need to provide us with your official high school transcript(s). Your transcript(s) should include all of the courses and grades that you've completed up until this point. The freshman application now requires an essay and at least one academic recommendation.
From High School to Higher Education We won't only review academic success, but also your extracurricular accomplishments, special talents, awards, and life experiences you've had. Queens College requires a personal statement/essay as part of our review process.
However, most selective colleges and universities — Harvard, Stanford, and USC, just to name a few — require one to three recommendation letters, usually from your guidance counselor and at least one teacher. Multiple recommendation letters allow admissions officers to learn about you from various perspectives.
