Students must be currently admitted to Collin College to request a degree plan evaluation. Official transcripts can be sent to transcripts@collin.
During the Ceremony The beginning of the ceremony will include messages from Collin College's District President Dr. Neil Matkin, Chair of the Board of Trustees, and our guest speaker. After the speeches, graduates will be led to the stage to have their names called while they cross the stage.
To register for Fall classes, you will do so in Workday. Simply log in to CougarWeb and click "Workday Dashboard" in the "Registration Tools - Fall 2024" section. From here you can search for available course sections and register! For more help with using Workday click here.
If you have taken any college classes, you will need to complete an admission application. (Returning Collin College students who have been out more than a year need to reapply, including dual credit students.)
Applying for Graduation To access the application, students should log in to CougarWeb and select "Apply to Graduate" under the Student Quick Links section. Upon submission of the form a confirmation page will be displayed and students will receive communication regarding graduation via their CougarMail account.
Changes of name, address, social security numbers, etc., must be reported promptly to the Student Enrollment and Services Office. Current address information enables students to receive registration and other information from college departments and programs.
Petition for Degree / Certificate Under Student Quick Links, select "Apply to Graduate." Students may complete a "Petition for Degree / Certificate" at any of our Student Enrollment and Services offices or you can download a form from the Admission Forms section of our web site.
Please note: Whether if transcript was received at Collin College electronically or by regular mail, it may take up to 7 - 10 business days to process, as each transcript must be manually reviewed. Transcript processing during peak season may be longer.

What are the GPA requirements? Cumulative GPAs are generated from the Admissions department. If you do not have a GPA with Collin College, the system will generate a GPA from your previous high school, college or university. All applicants are required to have a minimum GPA of at least 2.5.
