The Arizona Military Family Relief Fund was created to provide financial assistance to service members, Veterans and their families for unforeseen financial hardships caused by the service member's military service. MFRF is open to both pre 9/11 and post 9/11 Veterans.
ASU reviews and posts payments Eligible ASU Online undergraduate students will automatically receive the Military Active Duty and Reservist Commitment Scholarship to cover the specific courses that TA was approved and funded for, within two weeks after the session start date with no additional steps.
For campus based-programs, ASU allocates a limited number of undergraduate and graduate Yellow Ribbon scholarships each year. Students need to apply for the scholarship, and may go on a waiting list if all allocations have been filled. Applications can be found on PTVC's forms page.
ASU Online graduates receive a diploma from Arizona State University, same as students who earn their degrees on campus. Neither your diploma nor transcripts will note that it's an online degree.
The University of Arizona is a Yellow Ribbon School. Only individuals approved for 100% benefit level may receive funding. The Post-9/11 GI Bill® pays in-state tuition and fees at public schools.
Yellow Ribbon is only applicable to students eligible to receive the Post-9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33) at the 100% eligibility level. ASU Yellow Ribbon slots are limited for campus-based program of studies. Yellow Ribbon for ASU Online students is managed separately, and does not require this application.

Mailing Deployed Service Members. To mail a care package to deployed service members, or service members assigned overseas, you will need the recipient's name and Army Post Office (APO) address. APO addresses are used for both Army and Air Force mail, as they are associated with Army and Air Force installations.
