Turning down a job offer after you have already accepted it can be an uncomfortable experience. However, as long as you have not signed an employment contract with the company, you are legally allowed to change your mind.
So, in this regard I notify you in advance that I may or may not join your company on the date mentioned in offer letter due to unavoidable circumstances.. I will let you know asap when I get the final confirmation of relieving from my current company..
I am super grateful for the opportunity and eager to start building my career at Company and contribute to its success. I am writing this email to request to push back my joining date to Proposed Date because Explain Why There is a Delay.
You can reschedule your date of joining before a week or two weeks mostly. But at the last moment if you need to change you can talk to the onboarding HR or supervisor to reschedule it and change the date of joining. Also, it depends upon the company's needs too.
You can always request the hr to prepone the joining date. They will accept that and then send you the revised offer letter.
I am excited to accept the Job Title job at Company Name. Thank you for this opportunity and for clarifying the hiring process. Due to personal reasons, I need to request a change in my joining date. I would appreciate it if you could change it to DD/MM/YYYY.
