University Admission Requirements for Freshmen High school graduate. GPA score of 3.0 (weighted) in the required high school courses for admission: Four years of English. If a first-time freshman does not meet the core academic GPA requirement, the ACT or SAT score may be used.

Applications for admission are reviewed when they are complete. A complete application is one which includes official transcripts from each institution the applicant attended previously. A final decision will be made on each complete application within 10 business days of receipt of the last official transcript.

Applicants will be notified of their admission status by email and on the Admissions tab in your Grad Rebel Gateway online portal. Those accepted to pursue a UNLV graduate degree or certificate will receive an electronic Letter of Admission from the Graduate College, which will be posted in the Grad Rebel Gateway.
