If you do wish to cancel your bid – and believe you have a valid reason for doing so – timing is everything: If the listing ends in over 12 hours, all bids can be retracted. If the listing ends in under 12 hours, you can retract your most recent bid, but only if it's been less than an hour since you placed it.

If the listing is due to expire in less than 12 hours, there are more restrictions you will need to deal with, and they may prevent you from ending your listing. You can end a listing early if there are at least 12 hours left, regardless of whether or not there are any bids on it.
Here's how to end your eBay listings via your My eBay portal: Go to your Active items list. Check the box at the top to select all listings. Select End from the Action dropdown.
