Form I-864 Processing Time The processing time for Form I-864 currently is around 9.8 months, but will vary depending on your situation. Note that Form I-864 is submitted as part of a family-based green card application, so the processing time is how long it takes for your green card application to be approved.
The petitioner and any other financial sponsors can download the forms at cis, and can use the chart on ”Step 4: Affidavit of Support” page to learn which forms are required.
For ALL sponsors: A copy of your individual federal income tax return, including W-2s for the most recent tax year, or a statement and/or evidence describing why you were not required to file. Also include a copy of every Form 1099, schedule, and any other evidence of reported income.

The DOS's National Visa Center (NVC) now accepts photocopied and scanned versions of signed Forms I-864 and all associated documents. However, it is important to note that the photocopied and scanned documents “must still be signed.” The NVC will not accept typed names and electronic signatures.
