Commissioners Court is responsible for budgetary decisions, tax and revenue decisions, and all personnel decisions except for certain positions which are either elected or appointed by the judiciary or other committees.
City Council meets weekly for A Session and B Session meetings. Meetings may be rescheduled due to holidays or special events. No meetings are held in July, to allow staff time to produce the City's annual budget.
Join the Zoom court hearing 15 minutes before the scheduled time. If you arrive late, you will end up waiting longer in the Waiting Room. When you are admitted from the Waiting Room, you should be muted. If there is a red line through the microphone you are muted and cannot be heard by the people in the meeting.
