Rhode Island BE Score Transfer Release is a process that allows test-takers to transfer their scores from Multistate Bar Examination (BE) tests taken in other jurisdictions to Rhode Island. The BE is a 200-question, multiple-choice exam administered by the National Conference of Bar Examiners (CBE) that is part of the bar examination in many U.S. jurisdictions. The Rhode Island BE Score Transfer Release includes two types of transfers: Transfer of BE Raw Scores and Transfer of BE Scaled Scores. The Transfer of BE Raw Scores transfer the raw score from the BE test taken in another jurisdiction to the Rhode Island Board of Bar Examiners. The Transfer of BE Scaled Scores transfers the scaled score from the BE test taken in another jurisdiction to the Rhode Island Board of Bar Examiners. Both transfers are used to determine if an applicant has successfully passed the BE exam in another jurisdiction and if their score is equivalent to the passing score in Rhode Island.
