New York E-Service in Habeas Corpus Cases, July 1, 2013, is an online portal designed to provide access to court documents, notices, and other materials related to habeas corpus cases in the state of New York. The service provides a secure and convenient way for attorneys, pro SE litigants, and other court stakeholders to electronically file and serve documents in habeas corpus cases, eliminating the need to mail physical copies. It is available to all courts in the state and is free of charge. There are three types of New York E-Service in Habeas Corpus Cases, July 1, 2013: Electronic Filing (E-File), Electronic Noticing (E-Notice), and Electronic Service (E-Service). E-File allows users to submit documents to the court, while E-Notice sends notices of court filings to users. Finally, E-Service allows users to electronically serve documents to other parties in the case.
