Nevada Articles of Domestication Pursuant To NRS 92A.270 are legal documents used for the transferring of a company's corporate status from one state to Nevada. This process is known as domestication and is done when a company wishes to move its domicile and be subjected to the laws of the state of Nevada. With Nevada Articles of Domestication Pursuant To NRS 92A.270, a business can choose to become either a corporation or a limited liability company (LLC). The types of Articles of Domestication Pursuant To NRS 92A.270 are: Articles of Domestication for a Corporation and Articles of Domestication for a Limited Liability Company. Such articles must be filed with the Nevada Secretary of State in order to become legally recognized in the state of Nevada. The Articles of Domestication must include the company's name, its original state of formation, its current and proposed place of business, the names and addresses of its directors and officers, and a statement that the company is in good standing in its original state. After filing the Articles of Domestication, the company must also file a Certificate of Domestication with the Secretary of State. Upon approval, the company will be officially domiciled in Nevada and subject to its laws and regulations.
