New Jersey Application For Amended Certificate of Authority For Use By Foreign Profit and Nonprofit Corps is a document issued by the New Jersey Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services. It is used by foreign profit and nonprofit corporations to register and/or amend their Certificate of Authority in the State of New Jersey. The application is used to register the corporation’s name, its legal address, its purpose, its members, and its directors. The application must be signed, notarized, and submitted with the required fee. There are three main types of New Jersey Application For Amended Certificate of Authority For Use By Foreign Profit and Nonprofit Corps: Initial Certificate of Authority, Amendment to Certificate of Authority, and Reservation of Name. The Initial Certificate of Authority is used to register the corporation’s name and information with the state. The Amendment to Certificate of Authority is used to make changes to the corporation’s name and/or information. The Reservation of Name is used to reserve a name for the corporation for a period of 120 days.
