The Kentucky Citizen Foster Care Review Board (CFB) Volunteer Application is an online form for individuals interested in becoming volunteer board members. These board members review cases of foster care in Kentucky, providing an independent review of each case and making recommendations to the Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHEFS). The CFB Volunteer Application is available for two types of volunteers: Adult Volunteers and Student Volunteers. Adult volunteers must be 21 years of age or older, and student volunteers must be between the ages of 16-20. The application asks for personal information, volunteer interests, and consent to a background check. Upon completion, applicants will be contacted by a staff member of the CFB to discuss possible board membership.
