Income Withholding for Support (TWO) Illinois 2020 is a mandatory program that requires employers to withhold a portion of an employee's wages for child support enforcement. This program is administered by the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS). Employers must withhold the appropriate amount of an employee's wages, which is determined by the court or administrative order. The employer must then send the funds to the Illinois State Disbursement Unit (SDU). There are two types of TWO Illinois 2020. The first type is an income withholding order (TWO), which is a court order that requires an employer to withhold a specified amount of an employee's wages to pay for the support of a child or children. The second type is an administrative income withholding order (AIO), which is an order issued by HFS that requires an employer to withhold a specific amount of an employee's wages for child support payments. TWO Illinois 2020 also requires employers to provide a statement of the amount of wages withheld to the employee at the time of each wage payment. The statement must also include the name and address of the SDU. Employers are further required to update the SDU with any changes to the employee's wages and to provide the SDU with an employee's final wages if they terminate employment.
