The District of Columbia Statement of Denial For Domestic Limited Liability Company is a document that is used to reject the formation of a limited liability company (LLC). This document is filed with the District of Columbia Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DORA) and must be signed by the person who is applying to form the LLC. The denial statement must be filed within sixty (60) days of the date of the application for the LLC. There are two types of District of Columbia Statement of Denial For Domestic Limited Liability Company: (1) the Statement of Denial for the Formation of an LLC, and (2) the Statement of Denial for the Amendment to an LLC.
