The Arizona Report Of Court Appointed Physician-Psychologist-Registered Nurse (APROCA) is a written report prepared by an appointed physician, psychologist, or registered nurse after conducting a court-ordered medical or psychological assessment. The report includes the individual’s medical or psychological history, physical and mental health, current medication and treatment, and any other relevant information. It is used to provide the court with an accurate and comprehensive evaluation of the individual’s mental status, capacity to understand and participate in proceedings, and any other pertinent information that may be used to inform a court decision. There are two types of APROCA: the Forensic Report and the Clinical Report. The Forensic Report is used to evaluate an individual’s mental status in criminal cases, while the Clinical Report is used to evaluate an individual’s mental status in civil cases.
