If you are a new driver 18 years or older in the state of Nevada, you will need to first apply for a nevada drivers license permit. If you are granted the driver's permit you will then be eligible to schedule a driving skills test and obtain a full license.

The Nevada DMV written knowledge test consists of 60 questions. To pass the NV DMV test, you must correctly answer at least 48 questions (80%). Practice with this sample test to familiarize yourself with the format of the Nevada driver's license test.

Young drivers may not transport any passenger under the age of 18, except for immediate family members, for the first six months after the license was issued. Penalties for violations include extending the restriction for six months or more and fines for repeated violations.

2 – Written Knowledge Exam The test consists of 25 multiple choice questions and at least 20 must be answered correctly to earn a passing score of 80%. Preparing for the written exam can be difficult, and studying the Nevada Driver's Handbook is always a good way to get a bit of information about driving in the state.

HABITUAL TRUANTS: Students who are deemed habitual truants (three or more unapproved absences) could either lose their license or be ineligible to get a license for a minimum of 30 days for the first offense and 60 days for the second offense, regardless of their attendance status in the current semester.

Driver License Requirements You must complete a minimum of 50 hours of be- hind the wheel experience, 10 hours of which must be in darkness, and complete the official DMV log of the dates and times. If a 30-hour driver education course cannot be completed, you must complete 100 hours of experience.

The applicant must submit a Certification of Attendance (DMV-301) form when applying for an instruction permit. If a student's permit or license is suspended because of truancy, a new DMV-301 must be submitted at the time of reinstating the permit or license.
