Locating the serial number. Most serial numbers can be found on the back or bottom of the product, and typically near a barcode. Serial numbers are 17-digits long (or 4-digits long for some headphones) and can include letters and numbers.

Serial numbers contain important information about your product, including model number and DOM (Date of Manufacture). The serial number can be found on your product, product packaging or app (if applicable).

Check the headband for a 4-digit code. If you are unable to locate one, remove the cushion to reveal the 17-digit serial number on the earcup. If your headphones use a rechargeable battery, remove the battery and look inside the battery compartment.

Weight and dimensions. In the Bose QC 35 II vs. QC 25 comparison, the models vary slightly in their weight and dimensions. The QC25 is a little taller (7.5 inches) and slimmer (6 inches wide) than its 7.1-inch by 6.7-inch QC35 sibling, with a much thinner ear cup depth, too: 0.9 inches to the QC35 II's 3.2 inches.

The 17-digit serial number is located on the underside of the speaker near the USB port. If there is a cover on the speaker, unzip the cover.
