Discounted disability hunting and fishing licenses are available to residents of Georgia. This license type cannot be obtained or renewed online—you will need to complete the application form and mail it with supporting documents to the address on the form.

Special Use Permits (SUP) allow for a specific exception to a recreational activity, service, or regulation. Each Special Use Permit is customized on a case by case basis to each individual's particular need. WAC 220-200-170 State law restricts such permit to persons with permanent inoperable disabilities.

Hunter with a disability means a person with a per- manent disability who possesses a disabled hunter permit issued by the department. A hunter with a disability must have all required licenses, tags, permits, and stamps before hunting.

Disabled Hunter Program: The hunter companion card allows a licensed hunter to assist the disabled hunter with that physical function the hunter with a disability is unable to perform. The hunter companion must be in the physical presence of the disabled hunter, not to exceed a ¼ mile separation.
