Permit applications must be submitted to the Clark County Building Department and are subject to zoning setback requirements.

The cost is a non-refundable $550 administrative fee and $660 per hourover and above the regular published plan review fees.

Building permits are required for all free standing and attached structures including carports, shade structures and patio covers. Permit applications must be submitted to the Clark County Building Department and are subject to zoning setback requirements.

“Special Use Permit Application” means a request filed with the Zoning Administrator to consider a specific location not permitted by right in any district(s). “Variance Application” means a request requesting relief from the requirements of the code for reasons to be demonstrated by the applicant.

This includes houses, garages, most decks, commercial projects, installation of propane appliances, grading, projects requiring framing, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc. Each item must be listed on the permit; work not listed will not be covered by the permit.

CALCULATED FIGURES ARE BASED ON CLARK COUNTY CODE, TITLE 22, CHAPTER(S) 22.02. 520 (A), (B) & (C) $. 00 - $500 = $54.00 base permit fee. $501 - $2,000 = $54.00 for the first $500 plus $1.68 per hundred.
