To conceal a firearm in New York, New Jersey or Maryland, a Pennsylvania resident must apply for a concealed carry permit in those states, ing to the Concealed Carry Reciprocity tool published by the AG's office.

Unless otherwise exempt from the training requirements, an applicant must get this training from an MSP Qualified Handgun Instructor and complete a 16-hour training course for an initial application with a minimum 70% accuracy rating by the applicant in the live fire portion of the class.

Maryland allows the open carry of a handgun by a person with a permit to wear, carry or transport a handgun.
