School Hours for Students are 7:45 a.m. to 1:55 p.m. School Office Hours are 7:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. When schools are closed early or all day, all field trips and evening activities are cancelled and school buildings are not available for after-school activities by other public or private organizations.

Parents/guardians can obtain an ID number by submitting an online Student ID Request Application. After submitting you will need to upload your proof of residency, the student's birth certificate, and your government-issued photo ID.

Primary Proof of Residency All documents must be originals. Settlement papers and lease/rental agreements must be signed and dated by all parties. *Private party leases must be notarized by the landlord or a notarized letter from the landlord must be provided with the original lease.

Prince George's County Public Schools contains 35 high schools.

A child who is five years old or older and under 21 must be admitted, free of charge, to a Maryland public school in the county where the child is domiciled with the child's parent, guardian, or relative providing informal kinship care. There are some exceptions to the domicile requirement.

If you need to change your address after you register, you must contact the Family Portal Admin at the school. If you need to change the mailing address or phone number, you must contact the school registrar.

The Online Campus is very different from a traditional school environment. All elective courses and some core courses are taught in an entirely asynchronous format through Maryland Department of Education approved online learning vendors.
