A Conditional Use Permit is required for any use listed under the conditional use section in a given zoning designation. Conditional use permits are generally required for a variety of uses, including but not limited to, schools, churches, signs, mobile home parks, some commercial businesses etc.

Side and Rear Yard Setbacks. Side and rear yard setbacks for the residential dwelling is twenty feet, for accessory buildings shall be twenty feet, for accessory structures used for agricultural purposes or home occupations shall be fifty feet, and for buildings of nonresidential land uses shall be twenty-five feet.

Structures closer than 5 feet to a property line will have fire rating requirements on the walls and overhangs/eaves. Accessory structures shall be minimum 5 feet from the rear property line and minimum 2 feet from a side property line.

A storage structure is customarily of incidental use to a dwelling and shall be unheated. Structures used for other than storage purposes, and/or provided with plumbing or mechanical fixtures shall require a permit for the structure and fixtures.

The standard setback is at least 15 feet greater than the buffer widths found in Table B-1 and B-2. Most residential lots will have a Residential Shoreline Environmental Designation, and therefore a buffer of 100 feet and a standard setback of 115 feet.
