How do I find out when it is? You can look up the case online at CaseSearch. Court dates should appear under Court Scheduling Information. You can also call the Clerk's Office at 410-535-1600 ext.

The juror summons provides the information needed to access the call-in system. The phone number for the call-in system is 410-778-2512. Jurors must call after 5:00 p.m. each and every evening, beginning the evening prior to their start date.

To determine your reporting status, you are instructed to call the recorder information line 1-866-SMC-JURY, 1-866-762-5879, 301-475-3550, 301-475-3507. The recorder messages are updated Monday through Friday after 5:00 p.m. You will need to refer to your Juror Number which is shown on your JUROR BADGE.

It is important that you check/listen to ALL reporting instructions provided. For any further requests or questions about your upcoming Jury Duty, if you have lost your juror summons, or if you no longer live in Montgomery County, please call 240-777-9090. Please have your juror badge id number available when you call.

Can I be excused from jury service? Under certain very limited circumstances, you can be excused from jury service. You must show that excusal is required because of extreme inconvenience, public necessity, or undue hardship. Being excused is intended to be used only for the most serious of situations.

Harford County Trial Jurors are summoned for one-day/multiple days if actually seated as a trial juror. The average length of trial in Harford County is 2 to 3 days; however, some trials may last longer.
