TSU Cares GEER Emergency Grant Application To accomplish this objective, the funds will be awarded to students whose families have been affected financially by the coronavirus pandemic and who are now facing unexpected financial hardships in paying for their educational expenses.

Updated Admissions Requirements: Students with High School Grade Point Average (G.P.A.) of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale; OR a minimum ACT score of 17, or minimum SAT score of 900.

To receive a fee waiver, you must submit your request to cophsadmissions@tsu.edu by November 1st. If your fee waiver application is granted, our office will notify you and provide instructions.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria: Enrolled full-time with an overall GPA of 2.00 – 2.99 at the close of the fall 2020 semester with no grades of “I” or “W”; must not be a transfer student. Attempted and earned at least 12 semester hours at the close of the fall 2020 semester.
