Driver's License - Proof of Correction For driver's license violations, a copy of the driver license can be mailed or brought to the traffic division window at the traffic court with the state mandated fee (40611 CVC). This must be done no later than the date shown on the courtesy notice.

Proof of Correction is a “Fix It” citation. It allows you to show the violation has been corrected and to pay a mandated Proof of Correction fee. For more information about the locations of the Riverside traffic courthouse, their contact information, and hours operations, please see below.

About Proof of Correction The Proof of Correction fee is $25.00 per correction. You must provide proof of correction for any correctable violations to have your bail/fine reduced, pursuant to 40610 of the California Vehicle Code.

Requests for copies may be made in person in the clerk's office at the Justice Center where the case is filed or by mail. To request copies by mail, provide the information or copy request form along with a check payable to “Clerk of the Court.” DO NOT SEND CASH.

A correctable violation, or "fix-it" ticket, is a citation for registration, insurance, or vehicle repair that can be dismissed upon proof of correction being submitted to the court.
