Upon arrival to a prison Reception Center, the inmate must go through the reception and classification process. This could take up to 90 days. Once all the inmate's case factors are reviewed he/she/they will be assigned a classification score.

The Correctional Reception Center is located in Orient Ohio, and is a mixed custody facility that houses approximately 1,500 inmates. The prison is responsible for the intake, diagnosis, and classification of new commitments in the region.

Overview. Visitors should wear clothing that enhances a family atmosphere, including complete attire with appropriate undergarments, comfortable footwear (bare feet are not allowed) and weather appropriate attire when necessary. Inappropriate clothing will result in being denied entry into the facility.
