In the US, a student in the eleventh grade is typically referred to as a junior.

Students are still in high school for four years, but some high achievers also make headway on college while they're there. And summer school can fit extra time into those four years, for some of the students who need it. But those are workarounds. The normative model for high school is still, clearly, four years.

Is High School 10th or 12th? In most countries, high school consists of grades from 9th to 12th. In India, though, 12th is considered Intermediate or HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate).

If you want to study in the US after the 10th you will have to do your 11th and 12th grade in a US high school system. This could be a public (free) or private (costly) program.
