Upon receipt of a completed primary application, you will receive an invitation to complete our secondary application. Interviews will be conducted from August through December. Each year, approximately 230 students matriculate, with no more than 10% from out of state.

There is no minimum GPA and MCAT. The average GPA is approximately 3.80 and the average MCAT is 511.

There are 3 main races that you can qualify for, 50km (OCC), 100km (CCC) and 100 miles (UTMB). These events are extremely popular and considered as some of the most competitive ultra trail races in the world. They drew over 22,000 applicants in 2022 meaning that the events were in some cases 484% sold out.

GPA Requirements A minimum overall, science, and prerequisite GPA of 2.75 is required. Grades of "C" or better are required in ALL prerequisite courses.

Applicants must apply using the online application by visiting the Office of Enrollment Services Prospective Students link. Submit the appropriate application fee, as indicated by the application site processing your application. (UTMB Internal Application, AMCAS, BioMedCAS, etc.)
