To withdraw your application—or if you have questions about withdrawing your application—contact a BU Metropolitan College admissions officer at 617-353-6000 or met@bu.edu. Note that the deactivation process cannot be reversed. Once your application is deactivated, you can't use it to apply to other BU programs.

Students may add and drop classes via GothicNet, or in person by submitting an Add/Drop form to the Registrar's Office, Hepburn Hall 214. The Add/Drop form is available at the Registrar's Office, and at https://.njcu.edu/directories/offices-centers/registrar/forms.

I was pleased to be accepted as a student at (name of school). However, after much consideration, I have decided to attend another school. Know that this decision was very difficult. Please withdraw my application and accept my thanks for your help and consideration.

To add or drop a course, eligible students should use WebReg on the MyBU Student Portal or complete an Add/Drop Form, available from their department/division office, the Graduate Programs office, or at the University Registrar website. Students should consult with their advisors before adding or dropping a course.

Undergraduate students wishing to withdraw or take a leave of absence must submit their requests in writing to the University Service Center, 881 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA 02215. Members of the University Service Center staff are available to meet with students to discuss the withdrawal and leave options.

To be considered officially withdrawn from housing after you have taken a leave or withdrawn from the University, complete the following checkout procedures within 48 hours of the effective date of your leave of absence or withdrawal: Return your keys, in person, to your residence office and get a key receipt.
