Get SC SLED Concealed Weapon Permit (CWP) Instructor Application 2022-2024

Prior to submitting your application, you must have received some type of handgun instructor training (i.e. law enforcement, military, NRA, etc.); and documentation of such certification must be submitted with the application. Transporting Firearms in Vehicles: South Carolina law permits the transportation of handguns in vehicles without a CWP, as long as the firearm is securely encased or stored. The firearm should be in a closed glove compartment, console, trunk, or another similar compartment.
