Energy Assistance Program: The Energy Assistance Program (EAP) provides a supplement to assist qualifying low-income Nevadans with the cost of home energy.

To be eligible for this benefit program, you must be a resident of Nevada and you must need financial assistance with home energy costs. A person who participates or has family members who participate in certain other benefit programs, such as SNAP, SSI, TANF, automatically meets the eligibility requirement.

Qualifying seniors may receive up to $350 in energy assistance through Project REACH as a bill credit. Payment arrangements and additional NV Energy services will also be available. The NV Energy Foundation funds Project REACH, an energy assistance program that is administered by United Way of Southern Nevada.
