FIREARMS AND TRANSPORTATION You are NOT authorized to have a concealed or open carry weapon, unless you are carrying a letter from the Fort Benning Command that specifically gives you personal authorization. Firearms may be temporarily transported in your vehicle to the Multi-Gun competition.

Per Army Regulation 190-11, the carrying of privately owned weapons and ammunition is prohibited on post unless authorized by the Senior Commander. Also, the carrying of a concealed weapon on the installation is prohibited regardless of whether a state or county permit has been obtained.

The armorer's primary duty is the operation of the unit arms room. The armorer will be exempt from other duties (i.e., Charge of Quarters, Guard Duty, etc.), to the maximum extent possible.

To provide Arms Room Officers (AROs), Non Commissioned Officers (NCOs), Physical Security Officers (PSOs), and unit armorers with a familiarization of arms room (AR) procedures and operations in ance with (IAW) AR 190-11 and FB Reg 190-13-1.

Yes. There is no need to stop at the Visitor Control Center if you have a dependent ID. Simply show your ID when driving through the gate.

All visitors 18 years old and older must have a visitor pass issued from either Hunter Army Airfield or Fort Stewart visitor center. Bring your valid state issued ID or passport to have a background check completed. Everyone 18 years old and older must come inside to receive their pass.
