If you would like to stop your membership you must inform us before the end of the current subscription year. We will then ensure that your membership stops automatically at the end of the current subscription year.

RIBA Chartered Membership Chartered Membership is exclusive to qualified architects. Chartered Members can add the letters RIBA after their name.

If you're based outside the UK, you'll need to either: Have RIBA recognised Part 1, 2 and 3 qualifications* Have RIBA recognised Part 1 and 2 qualifications, plus a combined total of at least 2 years of practical experience* Have an architectural qualification listed in the European Union directive EC/2005/36.
