Pay varies with responsibility: Assistant Clerks earn $150.00, Chief Clerks earn $175.00, and Inspectors earn $200.00 for service on Election Day.

The pay varies from $120 to $200, depending on the assigned position. Applicants are NOT paid to attend poll worker orientation.

Poll watchers, sometimes referred to as "election observers," are individuals who may observe steps in the election process. Each state has its own laws and procedures on when and where observers can be present, as well as who can observe the election.

There are two easy requirements in order to participate: You must be a registered voter and a resident of the county in which you wish to work. You must be at least 18 years old (or 16/17 if participating in Election Day Live)
