You can exchange damaged currency at any bank. If you want the money directly deposited into your bank account, go to the nearest branch of the bank you've opened an account with.

The cut in such notes, should, however, not have passed through the number panels. All these notes can be exchanged at the counters of any public sector bank branch, any currency chest branch of a private sector bank or any Issue Office of the Reserve Bank of India. There is no need to fill any form for doing this.

To submit your damaged currency, you can personally deliver it to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, or you can mail it there. You must include a letter with the estimated value of your currency, your contact information, and details on how the currency came to be damaged.

Under regulations issued by the Department of the Treasury, mutilated United States currency may be exchanged at face value if: More than 50% of a note identifiable as United States currency is present.

Bent or partial coin must be sent to the U.S. Mint. You must complete a mutilated coin submission application prior to shipping the coin. For information on the submission application, including the shipping instructions, refer to the U.S.

PURPOSE: This form is used to assist BEP's Mutilated Currency Redemption Program to examine your request for examination of mutilated currency for possible redemption.
