The Quartermaster Award is the highest rank in Sea Scouting and is awarded to Scouts who complete a number of requirements in addition to showing dedication and leadership.

The ship is led by youths who are elected to the positions of boatswain, boatswain's mate, crew leader, assistant crew leader, yeoman, purser, and storekeeper.

It can effectively reduce blackheads, balance excess oil on the skin, remove pore dirt, and add moisture and nutrition to the skin.

Yeoman. Keep minutes of quarterdeck and ship meetings. Remind officers of assigned tasks. Keep membership records for the ship. Supervise ship's correspondence.

Skipper. The Skipper is the key adult leader of the Sea Scout ship. This is not a position where the leader is an authoritative figure issuing orders, but rather is the kind of person who serves as an advisor, a friend, and a counselor to Sea Scouts.

Although most Scouts have the opportunity for boating activities, such as sailing and canoeing, the Sea Scout programme also incorporates many aspects of naval and nautical traditions. Sea Scouting is available to young people from the age of 10½ through Sea Scout Troops and Explorer Sea Scout Units.

The Sea Scouting program has its own Advancement Program, consisting of the Ranks of Apprentice, Ordinary, Able, and Quartermaster. In addition, the Sea Scout Marksmanship, Small Boat Handler, Qualified Seaman, Long Cruise and SEAL recognitions are available in the Sea Scouting program.
