The Federal Credit Union system was established by the Federal Credit Union Act in 1934 for the purpose of promoting savings and the financing of homeownership and other community-oriented financial services. As a credit union, FCUs are mutual companies owned by members rather than external shareholders.

A deposit slip is a form that is completed by an individual, known as a depositor, in order for them to make a cash or check deposit into a bank account. The account can be the individual's own account or an account of another person. For both the customer and the bank, a deposit slip serves as a form of protection.

Credit Slip means a document in form and substance prescribed by the Bank to evidence the refund of a transaction.

Request a bank cash or cheque deposit slip from the bank officials and fill in the details required. In this slip, enter details such as the date, the account number, the type of the account, and the account holder's name. If the deposit is in cash form, enter the denomination and the amount of the cash.

You typically only need to sign a deposit slip when you want cash back from your deposit. If you're only depositing funds, you don't need to sign the deposit slip. If you're making a deposit through an ATM, you may not need a deposit slip at all, so you won't need to sign anything.

The deposit slip should include the amount of the deposit, the date, your reporting unit name, your name, and say "cash" or "checks". If the deposit is currency mixed with coin, list the total amounts of the currency and coin separately on the corresponding lines at the top of the bank deposit slip.
