- On your first day of employment, you must provide the I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form. Ensure you stop by Human Resources to complete this requirement.
- To ensure timely payment, complete the following forms and return them to Human Resources by the 15th day of the month your employment begins: W-4, K-4 (if applicable), WH-4 (if applicable), Certificate of Non-Residence (if applicable), Direct Deposit Authorization Agreement (include a voided check), copy of your Ordination/License certificate (if applicable), Private Computer Facility Legal Notice, and Campus Directory Privacy Option.
- If you are a full-time employee, contact Human Resources to schedule a Benefit Meeting to enroll in employee benefit plans. Complete the necessary benefit enrollment forms.
- On your first day, provide your supervisor with necessary information to establish your employee record including your Social Security Number, full legal name, preferred name, address, home phone number, marital status, spouse name, and birth date.
- Complete any necessary authorization forms required by campus departments for access to tools and services. Confirm that your supervisor has submitted these forms on your behalf.
- Schedule a time to have your ID picture taken for your Shield Card. This card is required for campus access and services.
- To finalize your status as a Southern Theological Baptist Seminary employee, ensure your supervisor verifies your information with relevant campus offices including Post Office, Information Technology, Network and Computing Services, and Public Relations.
- Once all steps are completed, review the checklist for accuracy. Save changes, download a copy, and share it as needed.
