Today, CDC Director Rochelle P. Walensky, M.D., M.P.H., endorsed the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices' (ACIP) recommendation that all children 6 months through 5 years of age should receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

Acceptable unit temperature ranges are 36° to 46°F (2° to 8°C) for refrigerators, and 5°F (-15°C) or colder for freezers. Providers should strive for 40°F and 0°F for refrigerators and freezers, respectively.

All individuals 6 months of age and older that reside in the United States are eligible to receive the vaccine. New Yorkers should continue to wear a mask where appropriate and follow all other health guidelines.
