Follow the steps to successfully complete the application.

1. Click ‘Get Form’ button to obtain the form and open it in the editor.
2. In Section 1, select one line of business that applies to your ACI EDI application from the options provided, such as highway carrier or air carrier.
3. Enter the required information in Section 2, including your legal company name, operating/trade name, and the CBSA issued client identifier. Confirm if you are an approved Customs self-assessment (CSA) carrier and provide your head office and business office addresses.
4. If applicable, complete Section 3 to authorize an agent. Provide their legal name, CBSA identifier, and contact information. Confirm whether you authorize the agent to process customs information on your behalf.
5. In Section 4, authorize a service provider if you have contracted one. Fill their details and confirm whether they can process customs information electronically.
6. Section 5 requires you to indicate if you will use your own software for electronic customs information. If yes, provide the software provider’s name.
7. In Sections 5a and 5b, specify the communication protocol methods intended for transmitting customs information to the CBSA.
8. Select at least one EDI message in Section 6 that applies to your client profile and provide any additional information required.
9. Complete Sections 7 through 9 if you wish to remove a company contact, agent, or service provider.
10. Finally, fill out Section 10 for certification, signing the form and entering the date of completion. Ensure the form is sent to the appropriate address.
11. Once completed, you can save your changes, download the form, print it, or share it as needed.
