Get Salute: A Math Facts Card Game

Subtraction Top-It is played like Multiplication Top-It, except players subtract the smaller number from the larger number and call out the difference. The player with the largest difference wins the round and takes all the cards.

Salute! is a simple math game where players select a number card from a deck (without looking at it) and hold it to their forehead as in a salute . Another player decides whether to make a sum or product of the two cards and then announces the result.

The player with the lowest sum wins the round and takes all the cards. Choose a target number, such as 12; the player with the sum closest to the target number wins the round. Turn over 3 cards and find the sum (this is appropriate for 1st grade and higher).

Gameplay. So, the cards are being turned over one by one and landing in a pile in the middle of the table, and then, as soon as someone reveals a king, everyone must salute. The last person to salute loses this round and gets all the cards from the pile.

Combine four sets of Individual Number Cards 0 10 (Math Masters, pp. TA34 TA35) to make a Subtraction Top-It deck. ... The player with the larger difference takes all four cards.
