If the employer cannot allow thirty (30) minutes, the employee must be paid if they are eating and working at the same time.

They can work a maximum of eight hours at night and no more than 6 consecutive days. Manufacturing shifts must be less than 10 hours. They can work no more than 10 ¼ hours per day for manual and mechanical work.

If an employee works 8 or more consecutive hours, the employer must provide a 30-minute break and an additional 15 minute break for every additional 4 consecutive hours worked. ... Employees who work in certain retail establishments are entitled to a non-working shift break depending upon the number of hours worked.
