To remain in good standing, students pursuing a degree, diploma or certificate who are enrolled in regular curriculum classes must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0.

Submit Withdrawal Request Once a student initiates the online form, instructors will provide a last date of attendance to determine the withdrawal date. If a student is not able to complete an online process, the student should call the Office of the Dean of Students for assistance 315-312-5483.

Students enrolled at Midlands Technical College since Summer Term 2001 may access and print copies of their unofficial transcripts by logging into their MyMTC account, clicking on Student Planning, clicking Academics, clicking Student Planning, and clicking on Unofficial Transcript.

Select the Student Withdrawal option on the pull down menu for the course in which you wish to withdraw and select Submit Changes. NOTE: If withdrawing from all courses, a “Withdrawal from College” form must be completed and signed by a Financial Aid Counselor and submitted to TC Central for processing.

Students needing to withdraw from a course should log into their MyMTC account. In the “Student Records” section select the “Withdrawal Form” read, complete, and submit the form. Students may also withdraw in person at any Office of Student Records location by completing a Drop/Add/Withdrawal form.

Continuing Students: should log into their MyMTC account and in the “Orientation, Advising & Registration” section, select the “Change/Add a Major” link.

To Change First Name and/or Complete Name: Must have original court document containing name change. Also need original, unexpired state or federal picture ID showing correct name. NOTE: Your legal name is required by the College for official records.
