Insert a page break Put your cursor where you want one page to end and the next to begin. Go to Insert > Page Break.

Change a section break Click or tap in the section break you want to change. Go to Layout and select the Page Setup launcher button . Select the Layout tab. Select a new section type from the Section Start drop down list. Select OK.

To start a new page, from the Insert tab, select Page Break. In the Page Layout tab, from the Margins drop-down menu, select Custom Margins.... In the Page Setup window, click the Margins tab. Under "Orientation", change the page orientation to the desired setting (Portrait or Landscape).

Move a page break On the View menu, click Page Break Preview. Rest the pointer on the page break line until the pointer changes to a. , and then drag the page break line to a new location. Note: When you move an automatic page break, it changes to a manual page break. Manual page breaks are not adjusted automatically.

Go to Page Layout > Breaks. A Continuous section break starts the new section on the same page. Tip: You can use Continuous section breaks to create pages with different number of columns. An Even Page or an Odd Page section break starts the new section on the next even-numbered or odd-numbered page.
