Apply for HUBZone certification using the General Login System. Log in, select “Access” and then “HUBZone” before completing the prompts. Check your email (including spam folder) for time-sensitive instructions to electronically verify your application within 2 business days.

HUBZone (Historically Underutilized Business Zone) Program. The Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) program helps small businesses in urban and rural communities gain preferential access to federal procurement opportunities.

Proof of HUBZone Residency Provide copies of driver's licenses or state-issued identification cards showing the home address of each HUBZone resident employee.

Reside means to live at a location full-time and for at least 180 days immediately prior to the date of application (or date of recertification where the individual is being treated as a HUBZone resident for the first time).

A HUBZone Certification gives a business a 10% pricing advantage over its competition bidding on the same government contract. When federal contracting officers are purchasing off GSA Advantage, often times a HUBZone reseller of a product is less expensive than the manufacturer because of this 10% price preference.
