  2. In Part 1, select the basis for filing your affidavit of support. Choose only one option that correctly represents your situation, such as if you are the petitioner or a joint sponsor.
  3. Move to Part 2, where you will input your information as the sponsor, including your full legal name, mailing address, and immigration status. Ensure all details are accurate.
  4. In Part 3, provide the principal immigrant's information: their full legal name, current mailing address, and date of birth. Double-check for correct spelling and entries.
  5. Complete Part 4 by listing all immigrants you are sponsoring. Indicate whether you are sponsoring the principal immigrant and include any additional family members, ensuring to note relationships correctly.
  6. Part 5 requires you to determine your household size. Count everyone you are sponsoring and any eligible dependents, ensuring no one is counted more than once.
  7. In Part 6, provide your employment information and current annual income. If applicable, include additional income from others within your household that will support the immigrants.
  8. If your income requires supplementation, fill out Part 7 regarding assets. List and total your cash, real estate, stocks, and any other available assets.
  9. In Part 8, review the sponsor's contract carefully. Confirm your understanding of your obligations by signing and dating the form.
  10. If applicable, fill in the contact information for your interpreter or preparer in Parts 9 and 10, ensuring their details are complete.
  11. Finally, use Part 11 for any additional information if needed. Ensure all details have been filled correctly.
  12. Once all sections are complete, save your changes, and download, print, or share the form as necessary.
